Here are some plugins I've written and some that I have tweaked:
- Xinha for Wordpress - Turn your post and comment text boxes into full fledged editors
Updates to Other Plugins
- SecureImage - Allow Ping/TrackBacks when using SecureImage
- Text Control - This patch allows you to set the Text Control settings while drafting a new post (vs only when editing a saved post). Simply replace text-control.php in your plugins directory with this new version.
- WP-Stattraq - Give it a big speed boost with a few MySQL commands
I'm sure I'll write up some other plugins as the need arises. When I do, I'll post them here!
Random Ideas for Plugins...
- Use DHTML or AJAX to allow collapsing and expanding of long sections in a post and the comments. Do it like Kuro5hin.org. We can either load everything and hide it like this theme's sidebar (bad) or actually use the plugin to filter out or grab the sections. Sections can be wrapped with a special tag set.
